Join us for a Friday night to remember , as we kick this year’s festival off with a night of high energy music, including all your 70s and 80s dance and disco favourites from Le Freak.
Le Freak are a fabulous live tribute band to the music of Nile Rodgers and Chic. This band have worked with some of the Soul greats including Chaka Khan, The Jacksons, Kathy Sledge and Gloria Gaynor. Featuring the inimitable Gee Bello who also performs as an Errol Brown Tribute Act.
All the Disco classics that have been written or produced by Nile Rodgers and Chic, will feature in this amazing show, including songs by Sister Sledge, Diana Ross, Madonna, David Bowie and many more.
Le Freak call you to the dance floor, and deliver the goods, one dance smash single after another of the movement’s defining anthems. From the beginning to end, this show is a template for how Disco should be done!
Now the longest established Oasis tribute in the world. Together for 18yrs and with over 2,000 shows under their belt, it’s easy to see why they are the most successful and admired Oasis show out there. With several tours on the prestigious o2 Academy circuit, appearances at huge open air festivals, continual tours across the UK and Ireland plus gigs all over Europe, the Middle East and even the Caribbean!
The backstage bust ups and slanging matches on Twitter proved too much for this great British band but DEFINITELY MIGHTBE don’t share the same sibling rivalry as the real thing. They do however have a lot in common when it comes to reproducing the rousing anthems, stage presence and atmosphere that the originals created. Playing a selection from all seven albums including the hit singles, live favourites and a couple of Noel’s acoustic numbers make this a great show to watch.
Hundred Faces are a Somerset based band, who play a range of well known songs from the 60’s to the present day. Through their own sound and energy they make songs by The Kink, The Who, The Jam, The Small Faces, Blur, Oasis, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, David Bowie, Duran Duran, The Beatles, The Killers, The Stereophonics and whole lot more sound as fresh and raw as the day they were written.
No ordinary covers band, they make well known songs sound and feel as fresh and energetic as the day they were written.
Hundred Faces provide the soundtrack for a mesmerising, energy fuelled night.
Shoot The Moon are a seven piece, no nonsense, in your face, Ska Punk power house from the South-west. Their live set is a mix of naughty brass hooks, throbbing bass lines, filthy guitar riffs and jokes that you probably won’t get, or laugh at, because they’re not funny.
If you like to dance, this is the band for you. If you like it deep in the pit, this is the band for you. If you just want to stand at the back dogging them out, then they’re cool with that too.
Expect a high octane, adrenaline fueled performance that is certain to offend at least three of your senses. Lovers of the sesh, these boys know how to party.
